U-Turn is a supernatural thriller with an interesting plot. The narrative revolves around an intern who works for a local newspaper. She even forgets how to be a spy, so Durga has to relearn everything and take up the case to get to the killer. The film is produced by Abir Sengupta of Jaadugar Films and Anushree Mehta. Kanjoos Makhichoos is a comedy-drama based on Jamnaprasad Pandey, who is known for being miserly. Even his family is fed up with his penny-pinching habits, but they later learn that he was saving up to send his parents on a pilgrimage. He succeeds in doing so, but his parents go missing in a series of unfortunate events. The government soon announced compensation for their family, but a middleman siphoned off a portion of the compensation. Pandey then decides to fight back against the corrupt system.
