Manoj Bajpayee starrer Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a courtroom drama movie with a compelling storyline. It is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and produced by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited, Suparn S Varma, and Zee Studios. Bajpayee plays the role of attorney P.C. Solanki, a high court lawyer, who takes on a case against the most powerful godman in the country. He utilizes the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) legislation to put the godman behind bars. Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a ZEE5 Global Original film that is set to premiere on May 23, 2023, exclusively on the streaming service.
- Taj: Reign of Revenge
The historical period drama is among the newest web series on ZEE5. It is a sequel to the first season, Taj: Divided by Blood. Season 2, titled, Taj: Reign of Revenge, starts 15 years later and follows Salim’s journey from an exiled enemy of the Mughal Empire to seeking vengeance to succeed as the next Emperor. Apart from Naseeruddin Shah, Dharmendra, Aashim Gulati, Shubham Kumar Mehra, Sandhya Mridul, and Zareena Wahab, the new season will also include Mitansh Lulla, Jiansh Agarwal, and Sauraseni Maitra in lead roles. The web series got its world digital premiere on May 12, 2023, and is currently available to stream on the video streaming platform.

U-Turn is a supernatural thriller with an interesting plot. The narrative revolves around an intern who works for a local newspaper. She is investigating multiple accidents that occur at a particular flyover and concludes that motorists taking a U-turn are responsible for this. However, her investigation takes a dark turn when one of the U-turn motorists is found dead, and she becomes the prime suspect. The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R. Kapooor’s Balaji Telefilms Limited. In lead roles, it features Alaya F, Priyanshu Painyuli, Rajesh Sharma, Aashim Gulati, Shreedhar Dubey, Sahil Takhi, and Apoorva Suman.

Anushree Mehta’s Mrs Undercover begins with the story of a ruthless murderer on a killing spree targeting independent woman. He goes by the name ‘Common Man’ and to catch hold of the criminal, the special forces call up, Durga, a long-lost spy agent back on duty. However, she is now living as a middle-class housewife, managing a chauvinist husband, his son, and her in-laws under one roof in Kolkata. She even forgets how to be a spy, so Durga has to relearn everything and take up the case to get to the killer. The film is produced by Abir Sengupta of Jaadugar Films and Anushree Mehta. Mrs Undercover features Rajesh Sharma, Saheb Chatterjee, Laboni Sarkar, Roshini Bhattacharyya, and Sumeet Vyas, among others.
- Kanjoos Makhichoos
Kanjoos Makhichoos is a comedy-drama based on Jamnaprasad Pandey, who is known for being miserly. Even his family is fed up with his penny-pinching habits, but they later learn that he was saving up to send his parents on a pilgrimage. He succeeds in doing so, but his parents go missing in a series of unfortunate events. The government soon announced compensation for their family, but a middleman siphoned off a portion of the compensation. Pandey then decides to fight back against the corrupt system. Written and directed by Vipul Mehta, the movie features Kunal Kemmu, Shweta Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Alka Amin, Rajiv Gupta, and the late Raju Srivastav in significant roles.
