The Telugu film industry is among the oldest film industries, which is thriving to a great extent. Some Bollywood movies are also influenced by Telugu films that are remade in Hindi. - Pokiri – Wanted
Puri Jagannath’s directorial film, Pokiri, is a Telugu-language gangster thriller film. It starred Mahesh Babu, Ileana D’Cruz, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. Pokiri received a positive response from audiences and became a hit. The film was remade in Hindi as Wanted and starred Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia, and Prakash Raj in significant roles. Wanted was released in 2009 and was directed by Prabhudeva. It broke several box office records as it turned out that Salman was the apt person for the remake of his film because of his personality. Pokiri got remade in Tamil as Pokkiri and in Kannada as Porki.
- Vikramarkudu – Rowdy Rathore
Vikramarkudu is an action drama movie directed by S. S Rajamouli, starring Ravi Teja, Anushka Shetty, and Vineet Kumar in lead roles. Vikramarkudu was well received by the audience and became a blockbuster hit. It was remade in Hindi as Rowdy Rathore featured Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha as lead characters. Rowdy Rathore directed by Prabhudheva was released in the year 2012. Akshay Kumar’s mustache look was well appreciated, and he was even praised for his dialogue delivery in the film. Ready is among the top Telugu movies that came out in 2008. Srinu Vaitla was the director of this action-comedy love story. The Telugu version featured Genelia D’Souza and Ram as the movie’s leads. Ready received a favorable reception from the audience and went on to be a big box-office success in 2008. The movie was then remade with the same title by director Anees Bazmee in 2011. - Maryada Rammana – Son of Sardaar

- Kandireega – Main Tera Hero
The romantic comedy film was released in 2011. Kandireega was directed by Santosh Srinivas and starred Ram Pothineni, Hansika Motwani, and Aksha Pardasany in lead roles. The film was a box office hit and got a good response from the audience. It later got remade in Bollywood titled Main Tera Hero.
